Dubai has been unmistakably formed by Arab and Islamic culture. A strong element in the success of Dubai is the wide-reaching liberal approach to non-Islamic beliefs, needs and ways of life. This flexibility has enabled a multicultural society to blossom in which less than 20% of the population are UAE nationals.
